简介：力克一生中的三个阶段，都从性开始：五岁对性产生好奇、十六岁初尝禁果及成年迷失自我，犯上填补不了的错。在肯雅长大的他，每个人生交叉点，都似乎遭性操控。片中如诗一样的音乐、摄影及伊甸园中的亚当与夏娃故事，衬托于不同时空之下，成为导演一次试验习作。影片包含了四组人物的四组故事--如果那叫故事的话：赤身露体的一名黑种男人与一名白种女人在荒野丛林搬演亚当和夏娃的事迹；不到二十岁年纪的两位男孩女孩在一个让人感到别扭的时机和场合尝试x愛；避开喧嚣带着妻儿到乡间休假的尼克，他不时被孩提时候的经验（特别是恐慌的经验）所袭扰；摇身一变，尼克成了一名到北非出差的电视制片人，我们看到，尼克手下的一名男组员用情不一不说还开车误撞死了一名土著小孩，而且，他还累及了女友被土人刺杀，之前影片暗示，他的女友有个失散的双胞胎姐妹 ，这些事怎么都乱七八糟的啊，我甚至无法将故事的内容重组清楚。不仅单位故事与单位故事天南地北，来无影去无踪，之间不讲呼应对称，连单个故事内部也是不要前因后果，观众不知道角色何以如此这般，也别想知道他（她）下一步又会如此哪般。唯一可以肯定并把它们拉拢到一块的迹象是，《迷失禁果》在进行原罪观念和殖民地经验的再解重读：现代的青年男女的越轨举动应当与"活在"混沌初开时的亚当与夏娃的传说存在对应关系，去到乡间的夫妇的渡假生活仍在为文明社会带来的"罪梦"所侵蚀;，特别是蕴含着之于殖民地的一份疚责感--不仅是让黑人来充当一回亚当，而且，一对殖民地出身的双胞胎在被送到白人社会反而离散，撞死土著男孩及由一名白种女人去被杀偿命，都让人觉察到了背后的作者的歉疚自责之心。如果这就是作者所要表达的，那么问题马上来了，影片这里的表达方式是适切的吗？这里的言说太文饰了，就像一个有教养的倨傲的贵族，既使自我批评承认错误也要拿腔做势文过饰非，难免让广大群众伤透了脑筋。很想说什么，说时也隆重其事，可结果都嘀咕了些什么人们难以揣度，这也是当代文化的失语症症状之一吧。...

想唱就唱
